Terms and Conditions

By completing the registration process, students agree to all the terms listed below. Students also acknowledge that BLS Training Centers reserves the right to amend these terms, with or without notice. Additionally, students agree to release BLS Training Centers of all legal responsibility for personal injury or property damage that occurred while attending a course. 

 No course is considered reserved until registration is complete through our online portal and full payment is received. Students who register for a course through the American Heart Association website will be removed from the class roster until this step is complete. 

Refunds will only be granted to students within 24 hours of their initial registration, AND at least 24 hours prior to the course start time. Refunds are subject to a $15 processing fee. No refunds will be granted past the initial 24 hours.  Refunds are only applicable to course fees. Any activated electronic products, such as online courses or eBooks will be deducted from the refund amount, regardless of which party requested the refund. 

Students can reschedule for an alternate date within 60 days of the original course date for a $20 processing fee. Rescheduling requests must be made more than 24 hours in advance of the course start time. Students wishing to reschedule for an instructor course must provide 7 days notice and pay a $100 processing fee.

 Any student that fails to notify BLS Training Centers of a cancellation or rescheduling request prior to the course, will be considered a no call, no show. Students arriving late to a course, without notice prior to the start time, will be considered a no call, no show. No refunds will be issued for a no call, no show. No exceptions will be made.  

 Students should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their course. No student will be allowed to enter the class room past the scheduled start time. Students who arrive late will forfeit their course registration fee and will be required to pay full price to reschedule to a later date.  

Students who successfully complete an American Heart Association course will be awarded an eCard for the matching discipline. eCards are generally issued and made available the same business day, but please allow for up to two full business days to process. Also please ensure that you are providing an accurate email address to claim your eCards.

Email is the primary form of communication for information related to courses at BLS Training Centers. Please ensure that you have provided a valid email and added the @blstrainingcenters.com domain to your safe senders list. Students are responsible for regularly checking their email for course updates.
